Are you looking for a durable, attractive and cost effective covering for a flat-roofed structure? At Cole & Co., we provide a full range of services for flat roofs. Our team carries out reroofing for garages, carports, porches, sheds, outbuildings and extensions. If you’re building a structure from scratch and require an end-to-end service for a completely new flat roof, including all underlying features, our roofing contractors have the experience to meet your needs. We also perform repairs on localised damage too.
Based in Loughborough, our company operates in all surrounding areas. In addition to our hometown, some of our key service locations include Coalville, Hathern, Quorn, Rothley, Swithland and Woodhouse Eaves, to name a few.
We primarily undertake flat roofing services in the domestic sector. However, Cole & Co. has the experience, resources and reputation to meet the needs of small commercial jobs too, such as roofing for pubs and shops.
As you would expect from reputable roofing contractors, we put your satisfaction at the heart of everything we do. Of course, this means we always take the necessary steps to deliver results of unmatched quality. With more than 100 years of shared industry experience, our team’s skillset and trade knowledge ensures impeccable workmanship.
To complement this, however, we source market-leading materials that we know and trust for quality, longevity and cost-effectiveness. Firestone EPDM rubber roofing products tick every box.
What is EPDM Rubber Roofing?
The roofing we install is a 100% cured, single-ply membrane manufactured using a synthetic rubber compound. The production process creates a unique material with multiple features and benefits that set it apart from the competition. It’s little surprise, then, that roofers around the world have used Firestone membranes for decades, from reroofing to new installations.
When fit by the time-served roofing contractors at Cole & Co., this membrane provides a waterproof barrier that keeps all masonry and interiors beneath it dry. Once installed, our flat roofs also have outstanding durability. These EPDM rubber products withstand daily exposure to UV light and all weather conditions, year in, year out.
What is the Installation Process?
Firestone EPDM rubber roofing is a cold-application material. As such, we don’t need to use a gas torch at any point of the installation. Our roofing contractors always adhere to strict safety practices anyway, but the removal of a naked flame from the process eliminates the risk of a fire-related accident.
To attach these flat roofs to the substrate, we use a contact adhesive. The membranes themselves are lightweight, flexible and easy to work with. As a result, we can complete installations with a rapid turnaround. For an accurate timescale, however, we need to know the size of your roof and any features it may have on it, like vents or chimneys.
Firestone designed its EPDM rubber roofing with smaller applications in mind. In most cases, this allows us to lay your new roof covering in a single sheet without any seams, meaning your roof has less weak spots that water can penetrate over the years.
Whether you’re reroofing in Coalville or covering a new structure in Loughborough, upgrading to Firestone EPDM rubber roofing provides numerous benefits:
Cole & Co. provides a 25-year guarantee on our EPDM rubber flat roofs.
